Apple will launch 3 new iPhone models in 2016

Along with the iPhone 7, Apple may launch the 4-inch iPhone SE and the iPhone Pro, renamed from the iPhone 7 Plus.

Apple will clearly divide three lines of devices with different screen sizes.

Analysts at KGI predict that Apple will have a busy year, launching three different iPhone models. In addition to the all-new 4-inch version, the company will also rename the 5.5-inch product line to make it easier for users to identify.

The device that has attracted the most attention recently is the 4-inch screen iPhone called iPhone SE instead of iPhone 5se as previously rumored. Apple's new mobile phone will be equipped with A9 processor and M9 co-processor chip. The rear camera of the device has been upgraded from 8 megapixels to 12 megapixels. The battery capacity remains at about 1,642 mAh. The iPhone SE will support NFC, Apple Pay electronic payment and will have two capacity options of 16 and 64 GB.

The iPhone 7 will be released in the fall of 2016 and will be 1mm thinner than the iPhone 6s (7.1mm). Apple will most likely remove the 3.5mm headphone jack and users will have to switch to the Lightning port or Bluetooth wireless connection to listen to music. Another design change is that the camera lens on Apple's new generation smartphone will be flatter and the iPhone will have a version with a dual camera.

The most notable new information is that Apple may rename the iPhone 7 Plus line, following tradition, to the iPhone Pro. This product line, in addition to a larger screen, will also have more advanced features than the 4.7-inch screen version, such as a dual camera system.

Apple may have set the launch date for the 4-inch iPhone and iPad Air 3 for March 22. Meanwhile, the iPhone 7 and iPhone Pro will be launched later in early September.
