Arsenal secure top spot, Real Madrid level on points with Barcelona.
Arsenal maintained their lead in the Premier League after a 2-0 victory over Fulham in the 22nd round of matches last night. Both goals for the Gunners were scored by Santi Cazorla in the second half.
With this victory, Arsenal now have 51 points, maintaining a one-point lead over second-placed Man City, who won 4-2 against Cardiff.

In last night's matches, Liverpool disappointed by drawing 2-2 with Aston Villa, a day when Luis Suarez failed to score. With only a draw, Liverpool risk losing their fourth-place position if Everton beat West Brom on January 21st.
In Spain, Real Madrid secured a resounding 5-0 victory against Real Betis, a team currently in the relegation zone. Real's goals were scored by Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale, Karim Benzema, Di Maria, and Alvaro Motara.
This victory puts Real level on points with Barcelona and Atletico, both having 50 points, but having played one more game.
