Arsenal meet old enemy Bayern in the Champions League round of 16

Arsene Wenger and his team meet their old enemy Bayern Munich, while two teams with many fates, PSG and Barca, meet again.

Arsenalis the name mentioned most after the draw ceremony at the headquarters of the European Football Federation UEFA in Nyon (Switzerland) on the afternoon of December 12. In the last six seasons, finishing second in the group, they were eliminated in the round of 16 because they met strong opponents. This season, coach Arsene Wenger and his team played impressively to finish the group stage in first place for the first time since the 2011-2012 season. The next evenly matched pair isBarca-PSG. The two teams faced each other in the quarter-finals of the 2012-2013 and 2014-2015 Champions League, with the Spanish giants winning both. In the most recent season, when Barca and PSG were even in the same group, each team won one match at home.
