Arsene Wenger returns to lead Bayern Munich?
Top figures in Bayern Munich's board of directors unexpectedly appeared together at the club's press conference this afternoon (October 19, Vietnam time), sparking rumors that the Bavarians will fire coach Kovac to hire Arsene Wenger.
Former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has been linked with the Bavarian club in recent times and has admitted he is open to returning to coaching in 2019.

Bild newspaper said that Bayern Munich's powerful trio including Uli Hoeness, President Karl-Heinz Rummenigge and Sports Director Hasan Salihamidzic will attend a press conference at 5:00 p.m. on October 19 (Vietnam time).
This is a very strange move because the last time all three characters appeared together in a public press conference was at the announcement ceremony of coach Jupp Heynckes more than a year ago.
The veteran coach left the Alliazn Arena at the end of the 2017/18 season, with Niko Kovac taking his place.
However, the young Croatian coach is under immense pressure as the Bavarians have had a poor start to life in the Bundesliga, currently ranking 6th in the standings.
The former Eintracht Frankfurt captain's ability has been questioned as he has failed to motivate a dismal Bayern side consisting of many ageing players.
As for Wenger, when Bild asked about Bayern last week, the French strategist said: "Mr. Hoeness and Rummenigge will play an important role in Bayern's transition process.
I think they need more help from famous former players like Philipp Lahm or Oliver Kahn. They know the Bavarians very well and have lived with the club for many years. That experience is something you cannot learn from normal schools."
