Ashley Cole is Ronaldo's toughest opponent

CR7 always remembers the breathless moments every time he faced Ashley Cole.

Ronaldo played for Man Utd for six years. During this time, CR7 often had to face Chelsea full-back Ashley Cole.

"I had some great confrontations with Ashley Cole. I didn't have a second to breathe in those confrontations. When he was at his peak, Cole was a tenacious player, fast and had very annoying tackles. Once facing him, you never had an easy match," Ronaldo shared in an interview on October 27.

Ronaldo also admires another defender, teammate Pepe. Together with this defender, CR7 has won La Liga, Copa del Rey, Champions League and Euro 2016.

"Pepe is the teammate I always want to have by my side in a battle. He is a great defender and always gives his all on the pitch," Ronaldo praised.
