Assassin's Creed Shadows releases expansion pack: Claws of Awaji
The Assassin's Creed Shadows expansion, Claws of Awaji, has officially launched, adding a new area and continuing the story of Naoe and Yasuke.
Naoe and Yasuke's new journey
Ubisoft has just released the Claws of Awaji expansion for Assassin's Creed Shadows. Players can experience it on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PC, and macOS via the Epic Games Store, Steam, or Ubisoft Store. For those who pre-ordered, the expansion is included as a bonus; otherwise, it costs $25 or is free for Ubisoft+ users.

Developed by Ubisoft Bordeaux, Claws of Awaji offers approximately 10 hours of new gameplay along with an entirely different area. The content takes place after the player completes the main story, so the expansion cannot be experienced until the campaign is finished.
The story begins with Naoe tracking a mysterious ninja to Awaji Island. There, she and Yasuke must confront Sanzoku Ippa, a ruthless force threatening the island's peace.
In this new adventure, gamers will explore vibrant cities and stunning seascapes, but must also be wary of ambushes and traps that are always lurking.
The continued success of Assassin's Creed Shadows
Since its release on March 20th, Assassin's Creed Shadows has continuously received updates such as the New Game+ mode, Nightmare difficulty, and many other useful features.

The game reached three million players in just over a week after its release, becoming the most successful installment in the series on Steam, and second only to Assassin's Creed Valhalla in the entire series.
Claws of Awaji not only expands the world but also solidifies Shadows' position as one of Europe's most successful games of 2025.
