Fighting broke out as soon as the Calais Wall was built.
(Baonghean.vn) - On September 22, at the Calais border area between England and France, there were scenes of violence between French police and hundreds of migrants trying to reach the foggy island nation.

The chaotic scenes came just a day after Britain officially began building a £2 million, 1km-long concrete wall across a refugee camp in the northern French port of Calais.
Video footage of the clashes showed migrants throwing objects at French officials and British passport control as they tried to break through barriers to reach Britain.
French police were then forced to use tear gas to push back the migrants. One officer was injured in the clash.
Earlier, police built barricades and closed off main ring roads next to the refugee camp in the port of Calais.
In Calais, around 10,000 people live in a cramped and unsanitary refugee camp. Tensions have flared repeatedly between local residents who accuse those living in the camp of “destruction and violence.”
French Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve announced in September 2016 that the camp would be closed "as soon as possible".
Earlier this week, former president Nicolas Sarkozy also called on Britain to deal with migrants in Calais, saying France was not "Britain's border guard".
Mr Sarkozy complained that France was "overwhelmed by migrants" and vowed to scrap the migration deal between the two countries if Britain built border checkpoints in Calais.
