This is a project invested by the Australian Mavin AustFeed Company Limited Group with a long-term development strategy in Nghe An. This is demonstrated by the determination to quickly put the project into use and right in the beginning of the new year 2017, on January 31 (ie the 4th day of the Lunar New Year), Mr. David Withead - Chairman of the Australian Mavin AustFeed Company Limited Group visited and worked with the leaders of Nghe An province. Through the provincial leaders, the group sent 500 million VND to support the provincial Social Fund, showing its solidarity and sharing with the difficulties of Nghe An farmers.

Through the discussion, Mr. Le Trung Thanh - CEO of AustFeed Nghe An added: In addition to the Animal Feed Factory project in Nam Cam Industrial Park, Mavin Group plans to invest in Nghe An province a high-tech pig breeding center, with a scale of 2,500 sows, on an area of 50 hectares, in Anh Son district, with a total investment of 250 billion VND; when put into operation, the project will provide breeding sows for farmers in Nghe An and the North Central region. In its development strategy in Nghe An, AustFeed also plans to invest in a high-tech livestock science research center, with an estimated investment capital of about 350 billion VND. This center aims to research and develop genetic technology, animal nutrition and veterinary medicine, helping to popularize the latest agricultural and livestock technologies in the world to Vietnam.

AustFeed Nghe An also plans to invest in a meat food production and processing factory, using European technology, with an investment capital of about 500 billion VND, to produce products such as sausages, ham and traditional products, serving the Northern market.

With long-term, sustainable investment and development plans, prioritizing the application of high technology, AustFeed Nghe An is expected to be one of the investors that will have a positive impact on Nghe An's livestock industry in the integration trend. In particular, the group's research and investment in building a clean pig farm in Anh Son district and a high-tech livestock science research center are very suitable for the strategy of developing high-tech agriculture and livestock in the West of Nghe An province.
