B.BD 3-1 DT.LA: Shooting down… a bus.

Becamex Binh Duong defeated visiting team Dong Tam Long An, who played defensively, with a score of 3-1 in the V-League 2014 Round 11 match held this afternoon, April 6th, at Go Dau Stadium.

Long An FC started the match with a defensive formation at home. Therefore, despite having more possession, Binh Duong FC still hadn't created a single clear-cut chance by the halfway point of the first half. However, Binh Duong FC managed to score the opening goal in a bizarre situation in the 24th minute. Following a corner kick from Van Binh, Phan Tan Tai awkwardly headed the ball into his own net, giving Binh Duong FC the lead.

In the 41st minute, after a beautiful one-two pass, Huỳnh Kesley delivered a perfect pass over Anh Đức's head, and the B.BD captain didn't miss, extending the lead to 2-0. In the 43rd minute, midfielder Thanh Hải unleashed a shot that rattled Quốc Thiện Esele's goal. This was also the final scoring opportunity of the first half.

In the second half, B.BD continued to dominate with well-organized attacks. In the 47th minute, Abass unleashed a beautiful shot with the outside of his foot, but unfortunately, the ball went wide of the post. Just three minutes later, Danny of the visiting team sent a cross that inadvertently became a shot, forcing Quoc Thien to make a diving save.

In the 60th minute, center-back Thanh Giang handled the ball inside the penalty area. From the penalty spot, Huỳnh Kesley beat goalkeeper Quốc Cường to increase the score to 3-0 for B.BD.

With nothing left to lose, DT.LA pushed forward in search of a consolation goal. And in an attack in the 83rd minute, substitute Dinh Vinh reduced the deficit to 1-3 for DT.LA with a close-range finish.

The match was very exciting in the final minutes, but no further goals were scored. Ultimately, B.BD defeated DT.LA 3-1 to maintain their second position in the standings.
