B.Binh Duong signs contract with former SLNA goalkeeper

The goalkeeper from Nghe An is one of the players who has played for B.Binh Duong the longest, after 3 "veterans" Nguyen Anh Duc, Le Tan Tai and Bui Tan Truong (who have now left the team). Tran Duc Cuong moved to the team in the 2013 season, before playing for SLNA in the 2014 and 2015 seasons.

However, at Vinh Stadium, the goalkeeper born in 1985 rarely got to put on his gloves and play. Unable to compete for a position with his junior Tran Nguyen Manh, Tran Duc Cuong was only able to appear in the starting lineup of his hometown team 9 times. It was thought that next season, Tran Duc Cuong would no longer be a member of B.Binh Duong after the contract between the two sides officially expired. However, with the departure of veteran goalkeeper Bui Tan Truong, the Board of Directors of the team in the land of Thu decided to keep Tran Duc Cuong to play, with a 2-year contract. Almost certainly, B.Binh Duong is the last team that Tran Duc Cuong will play for.

In the immediate future, the former SLNA goalkeeper will have to compete for the position with Pham Van Tien and Lai Tuan Vu. Compared to the two teammates mentioned above, Tran Duc Cuong is rated much higher in terms of experience.
