Three police officers died in Dong Tam
On January 9, the Ministry of Public Security issued a notice on the case of disturbing public order and resisting law enforcement officers in Dong Tam commune, My Duc district, Hanoi city.
According to the announcement, from December 31, 2019, a number of units of the Ministry of National Defense coordinated with functional forces to build a fence to protect Mieu Mon Airport, Hanoi city as planned.

During the construction process, on the morning of January 9, 2020, a number of subjects resisted, used grenades, petrol bombs, knives... to attack the authorities, resisted law enforcement officers, and disturbed public order, resulting in the deaths of 3 police officers, 1 resister, and 1 injured.
The authorities have controlled and arrested serious law violators, initiated criminal proceedings, prosecuted the accused, and handled them in accordance with the law.
Currently, relevant units are constructing the fence of Mieu Mon Airport as planned.
