A Monmouth University poll shows that Mrs. Clinton has widened the gap with her opponent Donald Trump to 12 percentage points.

Ahead of the third and final debate scheduled for October 19 between former Secretary of State Hilary Clinton and billionaire Donald Trump, a series of public opinion polls have been released. Accordingly, Mrs. Clinton continues to dominate as the support rate for her and her opponent Donald Trump is increasingly widening.

A Monmouth University poll released on October 17 showed that Mrs. Clinton had widened the gap with her Republican rival, billionaire Donald Trump, to 12 percentage points.

Specifically, among those surveyed nationwide, 50% expressed support for Mrs. Clinton, compared to 38% for Mr. Trump. According to the results of a poll last month, the former US Secretary of State only led the real estate billionaire by 4%, with a rate of 46% to 42%.

Despite her lead, Clinton did not win the absolute favor of voters. Only 38% of voters had a positive view of her, compared to 52% who had an unfavorable opinion. However, 60% of voters said that Clinton had the outspoken temperament to be President, while only 31% of voters said that the same was true of Trump.

An NBC News survey also found that Clinton was ahead of Trump by 11 percentage points. The tapes of Trump's inappropriate behavior toward women and the second debate had a negative impact on voters' support for the billionaire.

As the situation worsened, real estate tycoon Trump on October 16 repeatedly made statements suggesting that there would be fraud in the election in favor of Mrs. Clinton.

Indiana Governor Mike Pence, the Republican vice presidential candidate, has had to speak up to affirm that Mr. Trump will respect the final election results.

“Elections are always tough,” said Governor Mike Pence. “I expect the presidential race to be as tough as it is now until November 8. There can only be one winner, but as President Trump has said from the beginning, we will accept the will of the American people. But from now until Election Day, we will continue to give it our all.”

The polls come just two days before the final debate between Clinton and Trump in the race for the White House. Polls after the first and second debates both show Clinton maintaining her lead.

Chris Wallace, a famous host of Fox News Channel, will take on the role of moderator of the third debate between candidates Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump at the University of Nevada in Las Vegas tomorrow, October 19.

According to Mr. Chris Wallace, the topics he plans to bring up in this debate include economic issues, immigration, the Supreme Court, debt and legal standards, foreign hot spots and US presidential standards.
