Three workers in Quang Ninh died in a mine
On the morning of July 31, a work accident occurred at the Dong Vong Coal One Member Limited Liability Company (under Uong Bi Coal Company, Quang Ninh province) mine, killing three workers in the mine.
The incident occurred at around 8:00 a.m. at coal seam 643 of the Company's quarry in Vang Danh ward, Uong Bi city. Immediately after receiving information about the accident, Dong Vong Coal Company mobilized the Company's semi-professional rescue team and the functional forces of the Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries Group to deploy rescue measures.
After about 2 hours, rescuers reached the location and brought the 3 victims out of the mine.
The identities of the three deceased workers include: Tran Minh Thanh - Deputy Manager, Hoang Minh Duong - Safety Supervisor and Bui Huy Thuc - Electromechanical Worker. Currently, the authorities are continuing to investigate and clarify the cause of the incident.
