Three Vietnamese representatives compete in the World Office Informatics Competition in the US
Two high school students and a university student won first prize in the national round, receiving tickets to the world finals at the end of July.
On May 30, the Central Youth Union held a closing ceremony and awarded prizes for the World Office Skills Championship in Vietnam (MOSWC 2018). The three first prizes in the Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel 2013 categories respectively went to Doan Duc Thanh, a student at Le Hong Phong High School for the Gifted (Nam Dinh), Nguyen Ba Trong Dai, a student at Phan Huy Chu High School - Dong Da (Hanoi), and Dao Ngoc Anh Thu, a student at Ho Chi Minh City Banking University.
The three young people who won first place in the national competition will be ambassadors, representing the Vietnamese team to compete in the world finals taking place from July 29 to August 2 in Orlando, Florida (USA).

The Organizing Committee also honored and awarded 6 second prize winners, 9 third prizes, 45 consolation prizes and three promising contestant prizes divided equally among the three competition categories.
By 2018, the Microsoft Office Skills World Championship (MOSWC) had gone through 17 seasons. This is the largest office computing competition organized by Certiport Group with three subjects: Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
After 8 years of participating in the world finals, Vietnam has won medals for 6 consecutive years. The total achievements of Vietnam include one gold medal, one silver medal and 6 bronze medals, thereby being ranked in the top 10 strongest teams in the world.
