Upon inspection, the authorities discovered that Ms. Vuoch Hea was carrying 100 million Riel (Cambodian currency, equivalent to 570 million Vietnamese Dong) on ​​her person, so they invited her to the headquarters of the Tinh Bien International Border Gate Customs Branch (An Giang Customs Department) for questioning.

Here, Ms. Vuoch Hea took out from her belt 8 pieces of 9999 gold-colored metal (suspected gold) with a total weight of 8kg. Ms. Vuoch Hea confessed that this was the first time she transported money and gold in large quantities across the Vietnamese border.

Tinh Bien Border Gate Customs Branch has drawn up a record, temporarily detained the exhibits and vehicles for further investigation.
