Three students in Nghe An made 11.4 kg of firecrackers to sell for spending money.
(Baonghean.vn) - Wanting to have money to have fun, 3 high school students bought fireworks online and made explosives to sell, but were arrested by the police.
On the afternoon of January 10, Quy Hop District Police said that the unit is investigating the illegal manufacture of explosives against Bui Duy Dung (born 2004), Vu Trung Duc (born 2003) and Le Viet Linh (born 2002), all residing in Minh Dinh hamlet, Minh Hop commune (Quy Hop district).
At around 5:00 p.m. on January 9, at Van Giai hamlet, Van Loi commune (Quy Hop), the police caught Bui Duy Dung red-handed in the act of manufacturing and selling firecrackers for consumption. The seized evidence was 4 self-rolled firecrackers weighing 1.4 kg.
During a search of Dung's residence, police seized 10 more self-rolling firecrackers weighing 6.5 kg, 4.5 kg of firecracker powder and a number of tools used to produce firecrackers.

Expanding the investigation, the Investigation Police Agency of Quy Hop District Police executed an emergency search warrant at the residence of Vu Trung Duc and Le Viet Linh in Minh Dinh hamlet (Minh Hop commune), seizing 90 self-rolled firecrackers weighing 3.5 kg; 2 kg of firecracker powder and a number of tools used to produce firecrackers.
The total amount of evidence seized from Dung, Duc and Linh was 11.4 kg of homemade fireworks of various types; 6.5 kg of fireworks powder and some tools used to produce fireworks. However, before they could deliver the goods, the subjects and the fireworks were arrested by the police.

At the investigation agency, the subjects confessed to buying fireworks online and learning how to make fireworks to sell for profit.
It is known that Dung, Duc and Linh are all 10th grade students at a high school in Quy Hop district. The Quy Hop district police are currently investigating the case.
