Merkel: Russia cannot return to G8
There is no chance of Russia joining the G7 format now, German Chancellor Angela Merkel said during "government hours" in the Bundestag.

According to her, Moscow violates the norms of international law, while other members of the G7 try to follow it.
"The annexation of Crimea is a blatant violation of international law, so the exclusion of Russia from the G8 format is inevitable," - Bild quotes the prime minister.
At the same time, Angela Merkel stressed that constant contact between Moscow and Berlin, as well as interaction on the G7 line, is maintained.
