Nghe An Museum was established in 1979, is the place to preserve more than 20,000 documents and artifacts, recreating the entire history of Nghe An from prehistoric times to the present day, including many rare antique collections such as bronze drums, Dong Son cultural jewelry, ancient embroidery, Ly, Tran, Le, Nguyen ceramics... In particular, Nghe An Museum is the only place in the province that is preserving 3 national treasures. |

The entire permanent exhibition system at the exhibition house is arranged on 3 floors. The first floor is the reception area and displays thematic exhibitions. The second and third floors introduce nature and people along with the entire historical process of Nghe An province from primitive times to the present day according to 5 themes. |

The themes show that Nghe An is an ancient land, one of the places where ancient Vietnamese communities appeared and settled. At the same time, Nghe An is also a land of outstanding people, the place that gave birth to many talented people, the excellent son of President Ho Chi Minh - Hero of national liberation, outstanding cultural celebrity. |
