Three people were seriously injured in a fight over cemetery land.
When going to the cemetery to check the ancestral land, Mr. Binh and his son argued loudly with the owner of the area next door.
On the afternoon of September 25, Hoa Vang District Police (Da Nang) confirmed that there had just been a fight at the Hoa Phuoc village cemetery that left three people seriously injured.
The victims include: Mr. Nguyen Tan Binh (59 years old), Mr. Nguyen Tan Duong (35 years old, Mr. Binh's son) and Nguyen Dung (all residing in Hoa Phuoc village). Mr. Binh is currently receiving emergency treatment at Da Nang Hospital.

According to authorities, on the morning of September 25, Mr. Binh and his son went to the cemetery area of Hoa Phu commune to check the encroached ancestral land and got into an argument with many members of Mr. Nguyen Hung's family who were building a mausoleum for a recently deceased relative.
Previously, Mr. Binh and Mr. Hung's family bought adjacent ancestral land together. According to Mr. Binh, when burying his relatives, Mr. Hung encroached on his family's land.
When Mr. Binh scolded him, Hung attacked him with a machete. Mr. Binh and his son were slashed many times in the back and chest, almost severing their arms and right leg bones... Mr. Binh collapsed on the spot. Mr. Duong was unconscious due to blood loss, his fingers were almost severed.
While chasing and beating Mr. Binh and his son, Hung accidentally slashed and seriously injured his younger brother Dung.
