(Baonghean.vn) - TH took advantage of two golden opportunities: the melamine-contaminated milk scandal in China in 2008 and the embargo on Russia in 2014 to make breakthroughs and reach out to the world.

At the Vietnam Business Summit within the framework of APEC High-Level Week, Ms. Thai Huong, Chairwoman of TH Group, shared the successful experiences and aspirations for the community of TH Group. Nghe An Newspaper introduces Ms. Thai Huong's speech at the conference:

....This morning we heard the Prime Minister and other speakers talk about the business environment and what we hope to see Vietnam become a reliable business partner. From the business side, I would like to share my experience as a young brand.

As Chairman of TH Group, founder of TH true MILK brand, I believe that the strength to reach today's success of TH true MILK brand is based on the core value "For community health".

Many businessmen and speakers around the world also appreciate that TH has made a very spectacular step to develop a young brand. So why is it like that? I think it is because we have created products for the health of the community and based on superior thinking, harmonizing benefits with a very simple formula: using Vietnamese natural resources, Vietnamese intelligence and world-class technology to turn dreams into reality.

In 2008, Vietnam was faced with a situation where it imported 92% of powdered milk - mainly powdered milk from the Chinese market for reconstitution. At that time, Vietnam's dairy farming industry could not be said to have failed, but it was also not successful because it could not develop a herd of cows and produce fresh milk. From that starting point, TH invested in dairy farming, after only 5 years we had a herd of 45,000 dairy cows, was recognized as the Record for the Largest High-Tech Dairy Farm in Asia and achieved certain successes, contributing to changing the nature of Vietnam's dairy industry.

Thus, for a young brand to succeed, it must be based on the true value of the product – determining exactly what it wants to bring to society. What TH brings to society are quality products, for the health of the community. We have used 4.0 technology to produce high-quality products, reasonable prices… which are well received by the market. TH currently has a growth rate of about 12%/year, a resounding success in Vietnam.

After dairy cows, still with the mindset of For the health of the community, we move towards economic activities under the forest canopy, building herbal farms and preserving and exploiting the best herbs to serve people.

With those successes, based on those outstanding thinking, we have entered the very potential market of APEC, which is the Russian Federation. Here, we will continue to promote the brand strength based on the core value of For public health and based on the world's high technology platform to put into production of goods. We are ready to welcome opportunities and have a good product strategy, then the brand will stand firm.

We at TH have taken advantage of two golden opportunities: In Vietnam in 2008, when milk was contaminated with melamine in China, facing that situation, we started to create a clean fresh milk line under the TH true MILK brand. By 2014, when the Russian Federation was embargoed and implemented embargo measures, this market was short of up to 50% of milk and agricultural products.

Based on a vast land source, extremely rich resources of the Russian Federation and with the extremely open policy of the leader, President Vladimir Putin, in the process of rebuilding the great and benevolent country of Russia, we have built a dairy farming project, milk processing and a number of other food projects with an investment of 2.7 billion USD within 10 years. Up to now, after 2 years of implementation, we are preparing to welcome the first herd of cows to the TH farm in Moscow province, Russian Federation.

Our milk and food projects will definitely succeed because they are based on the most humane elements of the brand: sharing, kindness and for community health.

Speaking at this APEC meeting, I have a thought: if we think of human life as long, it is very long if we live to be 100 years old, but if it is short, it is also very short, just like an afternoon nap. Many great people have passed through this life and become rivers, streams, and the souls of the nation. They are remembered for doing good and kind things for the community.

I also think we should be a good person in any job and the humane light of the brand will guide the way. If we position the brand "For community health" in all products, we will be successful in any situation.

As the head of TH Group, a unit that produces food products widely used by people, I always keep in mind that we need to: "Cherish Mother Nature, she will give us everything". In this scientific age, there are many things we can apply technology to, but in food, in human food and drink, we must respect nature, use what Mother Nature gives. At this time, science and technology are just solutions for us to ensure productivity, output, quality control...

...When I was a child, I was born in a poor countryside. I always wanted my family and those around me to have a better life. I dreamed of making money and contributing. Now I am a businessman but that dream still urges me. I believe that doing business must be profitable but that profit must be in harmony with the interests, bringing happiness to those around me.

I still continue to dream of reaching new heights.
