Uncle hacked a 5-year-old girl to death on her way home from school.
Police in Phu Binh district, Thai Nguyen are investigating a serious murder case that left one person dead and one injured in Tan Duc commune on the afternoon of April 27.
At about 4:45 p.m. on April 27, Vu Van Viet (62 years old, residing in Dien hamlet, Tan Duc commune, Phu Binh district),used a knife to stab his younger brotherMr. VVD (58 years old) and Mr. D's grandson is VTKN (5 years old).
The incident caused N. to die and Mr. D. to be injured and taken to Thai Nguyen Central Hospital for emergency treatment.

Immediately after that, the incident was reported by the people to the authorities of Phu Binh district.
After 30 minutes, the police controlled and arrested Vu Van Viet when he was holding a knife and barricading himself in the house. They confiscated a knife (a machete with a bamboo handle, total length 109cm).
Initially at the police station, Vu Van Viet confessed that due to a previous conflict, while cutting grass at the edge of his family's field, he saw Mr. D. picking up his grandchildren from school, so Viet used a knife to slash the two victims.
