On the evening of March 7th, Bac Ninh province organized the "Returning to the Quan Ho Region" art program in 2015 and the ceremony to receive the Certificate of Recognition as a Special National Monument for the Mausoleum and Temple of the Ly Dynasty Kings (Tu Son town) and the Historical, Architectural, and Artistic Monument of Phat Tich Pagoda (Phat Tich commune, Tien Du district).

Party and State leaders, along with a large number of local people, attended the program.

Attending the event were National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung; Politburo member, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party, Head of the Central Organization Department To Huy Rua; Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam; leaders of central and local departments and ministries; and thousands of people from Bac Ninh province.

Held every two years, the 2015 "Returning to the Quan Ho Region" program, themed "Along the Tieu Tuong River," aimed to honor the unique artistic and cultural values ​​of Bac Ninh Quan Ho folk songs—a representative intangible cultural heritage of humanity.

This is also one of the activities to preserve and promote the cultural heritage of Quan Ho folk songs that Bac Ninh province committed to UNESCO after Quan Ho folk songs were recognized as a representative intangible cultural heritage of humanity.

The Certificate of Recognition as a Special National Monument was awarded to the Ly Dynasty Memorial Site and the Phat Tich Pagoda, a historical, architectural, and artistic monument.

On this occasion, Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam presented the Certificate of Recognition as a Special National Monument to the Mausoleum and Temple Complex of the Ly Dynasty Kings and the Historical, Architectural, and Artistic Monument of Phat Tich Pagoda.

This is a recognition and tribute from the Party, State, and people of Vietnam to the immense value of the historical relics of the Kinh Bac region, the homeland of Quan Ho folk songs, a region with 2 representative intangible cultural heritage sites of humanity, over 1,500 relics, more than 500 folk festivals, 4 special national relics, preserving 5 groups of national treasures, and 60 traditional craft villages. It also commends the efforts of Bac Ninh province in preserving and promoting the value of historical and cultural relics in the area.

At the ceremony, the leaders of Bac Ninh province pledged to continue directing and implementing the task of preserving, restoring, and promoting the value of historical sites and heritage, contributing to the socio-economic development of the province.

With the theme "Along the Tieu Tuong River," the spectacular art program "Returning to the Quan Ho Region" unfolds in three chapters deeply rooted in the cultural heritage of Kinh Bac: "Tieu Tuong and its Love Stories," "Golden Memories," and "The Songs of Love and the Voice of Quan Ho." The artistic performances recreate and affirm the historical, legendary, religious, and spiritual values; honoring the unique, rich, and essential artistic treasures and core values ​​of the Quan Ho space in particular, and the Kinh Bac cultural region in general.
