Patient Le Duy Minh, 21 years old, was taken to An Sinh Hospital by local people at midnight on August 6 in critical condition, his whole body covered in blood. Before that, Duy was stabbed by a drunk man with a knife, respiratory failure, weak pulse,blood pressure not measurable

The doctor diagnosed the patient with a ruptured kidney due to a knife stab wound and required immediate surgery, but the patient was at risk of dying on the operating table due to excessive blood loss. The doctors decided toissued a red alert and invited leading urology experts to assist in the treatment. The surgery took place at 0:00 a.m. on August 7.When they got deeper into the wound, the surgical team noticed that one of Duy's kidneys had split in two, which was the reason for the massive bleeding. The difficulty was that the patient had a very rare blood type that did not match the blood types available in the hospital's reserves.

The emergency team was divided into two groups: The first group in the operating roomThe second group took the ambulance to the blood bank in the city to buy the right blood type to transfuse into the patient. Luckily, the second group finally found the necessary amount of blood.

The patient received a total of 4 liters of blood during the surgery.The surgery, which lasted more than 2 hours, was successful and the patient was out of danger. By the morning of August 11, Duy's health had gradually recovered and he was transferred to Cho Ray Hospital for further monitoring.
