US Election Prediction Master: Will Trump Be Impeached?
The man known as the “professor of prediction”, who correctly predicted the results of all US presidential elections from 1984 to the 2016 election, has just shared his latest prediction with CNN: Mr. Trump will be impeached!
History professor Allan Lichtman, who has accurately predicted every US presidential election since 1984, including Donald Trump’s victory, recently shared his prediction with CNN’s Erin Burnet: “There is a very high probability that Donald Trump will face impeachment.”
Mr. Lichtman often uses his own 13-question true-false rating system to predict whether a party will retain control of the White House after each election.

However, the professor admitted that he only relied on his “instinct” to make this shocking prediction. With his victory in the recent national election, Mr. Donald Trump will officially become the 45th President of the United States after being sworn in on January 20, 2017.
Explaining his prediction, Mr. Lichtman said: “Trump has had too many brushes with the law throughout his life. He ran an illegal charity in New York. He made campaign donations through this charity, which was also illegal. He also used this charity to pay off personal business debts.”
He also reminded that Mr. Trump has now been sued by at least 12 women for sexual assault. Former US President Bill Clinton once faced the possibility of being impeached for his sexual scandals, Mr. Lichtman recalled.
In addition, the president-elect is facing a possible trial on November 28 for charges related to his university. He is also accused of violating the Cuban embargo law by conducting business activities related to this neighboring country during the embargo period.

Reporter Erin Burnet also reminded the history professor that the entire House of Representatives and the Senate are currently in the hands of Mr. Trump’s Republican Party. Not to mention that the US Supreme Court may soon appoint a pro-Republican judge after Mr. Trump takes office. With this solid “background,” Mr. Trump will have a hard time being impeached, Erin Burnet said.
But, Professor Lichtman said: “Republicans are also worried about Donald Trump. He is a powder keg that can explode at any time. No one knows what he really thinks or where his stance really lies. No one can control him. Most Republicans may prefer Mike Pence. He is a more conservative Republican and more predictable.”
