"In case the Trump administration enters the US-North Korea summit talks with a sincere interest in improving US-South Korea relations, we will respond positively," Yonhap quoted the North Korean vice minister as saying.
However, according to Vice Minister Kim Ge Gwan, if the DPRK only listens to requests for denuclearization, Pyongyang "will not be interested in such dialogue".
"We will have nothing but to reconsider the possibility of the upcoming high-level talks between North Korea and the United States," - the minister said.
The talks between Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un are scheduled to take place on June 12 in Singapore.
