The official song of ASIAD 19 touches hearts with its message of solidarity
30 days before the opening ceremony of the 19th Asian Games (ASIAD 19) in Hangzhou, China, the Organizing Committee announced the official song of the games as 'The Love We Share'.
The song "The Love We Share" performed by famous Chinese singer, Sun Nan, has been officially confirmed as the theme song of the 19th Asian Games. The song, which encapsulates the spirit of unity, friendship and shared values that have shaped the Asian Games. With powerful lyrics and an impressive melody, "The Love We Share" captures the diversity and harmony that characterizes the participating nations and athletes coming together to celebrate the joy of sport. The chorus reads: "Together we breathe and feel, together we dream, together we love, together we share".
With the theme "Asian Community with a Shared Future", the song's video showcases iconic landmarks and inspiring landscapes from across Asia, as well as people of different skin colours and ethnicities enjoying the joy of sports together as "one Asian family".
The song was composed by Chinese musician Zhang Yijiang and the lyricist was Han Bing. The song is performed by veteran singer Sun Nan. Sun Nan was born in 1969 and is a very famous singer in China. He has won the CCTV-MTV Favorite Male Singer award 7 times. Sun Nan is also a singer chosen to sing at many major events in China.
