“People often think that photography is only for boys. But in my opinion, this is not true. Compared to boys, girls will have a deeper and more emotional perspective. Many of my photo albums start from talking and confiding with the characters. Besides, paying attention to the individual details of the characters is also an advantage for girls.”

The proof is that she always shows creativity and indispensable "artistic quality" in her works.

Vy's characters are sometimes crazy people, sometimes Dao children in the remote Kin Chu Phin village, and sometimes fishermen drifting at sea. The gentleness and delicacy are the unique colors that make Vy's photos attract viewers.

Graduation photos help Vy get perfect score

Admitting that she is a bit “crazy”, Vy believes that this personality trait has formed her own personality in each photographic work. That is why during her graduation ceremony, Vy was jokingly called “crazy” Vy by her teachers, because although she looks gentle on the outside, she is not normal when shown in her photos.

Share about the graduation paper with a strange name:crazy idea, the new valedictorian said: “I have heard a lot about sculptor Nguyen Nhu Y and am also very curious about his name and life. I myself have asked myself many questions and want to record the answers in pictures.

Vy introduces the character in the photo series: “People call Y the real-life Chi Pheo, because every penny he has, he spends on alcohol. There are days when people find Y sleeping on the side of the road, sometimes on the edge of a rice field, sometimes hugging a bottle of alcohol and cursing throughout the village. The most similar thing is that the real-life Chi Pheo also longs for a passionate love.

All his works come in pairs: from the bird on the branch, the flower on the roadside, or the dog running in the yard. What he lacks in real life, he makes up for with paintings and sculptures. In the photo is a wax statue of a woman standing silently by the window that Ý made himself.

Even though my character is half drunk and half sober, the first moment I stepped into the yard filled with statues, strange tree roots, paintings on canvas, on rough wood, I was welcomed by him like a close friend.

He even wrote my phone number on the fishing bucket. Some time after I finished the photo shoot, I received an intermittent call from him. On the other end of the line, he kept asking about my health and hoped that I would come back to visit him soon. That made me very emotional and was also part of the inspiration that led me to get a perfect score of 10 in this graduation paper."

Talking about her destiny in photography, Vy said that her passion started with a travel camera given to her by her father in 8th grade. From then on, Vy began her journey to explore every corner or nook of a small street corner.

“There were also many people who said that I was only suited to modeling and not to holding a camera. This hurt my self-esteem so much that I didn’t hold a camera for a whole year. But that was 7 years ago. Now I feel confident enough to fight back against those comments. The feeling of excitement and joy when holding a camera is the motivation that keeps me from giving up photography.”

Currently, Vy still receives some invitations to model. She believes that this is necessary, because when she understands the emotions of those in front of the camera, it will be easier for her to act as the photographer.

In addition to her photography skills, Vy also stands out for her beautiful appearance, no less than hot girls.

Vy has loved photography since she was 13 years old. This was also the reason why she chose the Photography major at the University of Theatre and Cinema.

A female student from Hanoi excelled in achieving a perfect score of 10 in her graduation exam and became the valedictorian of the University of Theatre and Cinema this year.

Vy said her dream is to become a creative director for a magazine.

In addition to her photography skills, Vy also stands out for her beautiful appearance, no less than hot girls.
