Attractive tourism "channel"

In recent years, the Central Highlands region has been developing rapidly in all aspects, especially tourism. This is a place where many attractive destinations converge, with many tourism resources, especially sea tourism, eco-tourism...

In 2018, the Central Highlands region welcomed about 56 million visitors, including more than 9.5 million international visitors, accounting for 28% of foreign visitors to Vietnam. In this context, aviation is considered an important driving force for tourism growth in the Central Coast and Central Highlands regions. In recent times, cooperation and regional linkage activities to develop tourism have been focused on, thanks to which the flight network connecting key economic and tourism regions within the Central region and across the country has become increasingly dense.

Boosting flight network coverage

As an airline with a 5-star service orientation, Bamboo Airways is promoting plans to connect potential tourism markets in Vietnam and between Vietnam and the world, in which flights to/from provinces and cities in the Central Highlands region are receiving great attention from the airline.

The airline is also opening connecting flights within the Central region.

In particular, in October 2019, Bamboo Airways will officially open a regular flight route from Da Nang to Seoul, South Korea with a frequency of one round trip per day, thereby widely promoting the beauty of the key city in the Central region to Asian tourists.

In the coming time, Bamboo Airways will continue to cooperate closely with the provinces and cities of the Central Highlands to continue increasing flight frequency and promoting the opening of more domestic and international routes.

In fact, although the Central Highlands has been witnessing tourism development in all aspects, many experts believe that the performance is not commensurate with the potential, advantages and expectations.

With the plan to expand operations in this key area, Bamboo Airways expects to bring many travel options to customers, thereby contributing to the exploitation of local tourism potential to the fullest, promoting increased regional connectivity, thereby soon making tourism a key industry of the Central Highlands in particular and of Vietnam in general.

Bamboo Airways currently operates 27 domestic and international routes, connecting major cities and famous tourist destinations in Vietnam and between Vietnam and the world. It is expected that by the end of 2019, the airline will continue to expand its flight network to 37-40 routes, including long-haul routes connecting continents such as Asia, Europe, and America.

Bamboo Airways' fleet will be increased to 30 aircraft by the end of 2019, including Airbus A321neo models for narrow-body aircraft and Boeing 787 Dreamliner models for wide-body aircraft.
