Sentence for murderer due to conflict while participating in traffic

On March 17, Hue City People's Court opened the first instance trial of the "Murder" case against defendant Nguyen Cuu Quoc (born 1994, residing at 102 Ton That Canh, An Dong ward, Thuan Hoa district, Hue city).
According to the indictment, on the morning of February 5, 2024, after delivering ice, Quoc drove his motorbike to the ice factory at 57 Xuan 68, Dong Ba Ward, Hue City. When he reached the road in front of house number 115 Xuan 68 Street, Nguyen Van Binh (born in 1996) drove his motorbike from behind and overtook Quoc's vehicle, causing Quoc to almost fall, so Quoc drove his vehicle to chase Binh.
When they arrived at the house number 61 on Xuan 68 street, Quoc said to Binh: "Your father is dead, why are you driving so fast?" At this time, the two motorbikes driven by Binh and Quoc stopped.
Hearing that, Binh cursed and picked up rocks from the sidewalk to throw at Quoc but missed. Binh continued to pick up rocks and chase Quoc to the stone factory where Quoc worked, chasing and cursing. While chasing Quoc into the yard of the stone factory, Binh picked up rocks and hit Quoc.

After considering the entire case as well as the defendant's testimony at the trial, the panel sentenced defendant Nguyen Cuu Quoc to 9 years in prison for the crime of "Murder".
