Selling bread without gloves fined 3 million VND
From October 20, according to Decree 115/2018 regulating administrative penalties for violations of food safety, people who directly prepare food without wearing gloves will be fined from 1-3 million VND.

Thus, people who sell bread along the road, coffee cart owners, sticky rice cart owners, vermicelli noodle vendors at the market... when making coffee, wrapping sticky rice, serving vermicelli bowls to customers without wearing gloves, or without wearing hats, without wearing masks... will be fined up to millions of dong for administrative violations.
In parallel, Decree 115 has received special attention when the fines for street food businesses have increased sharply. According to Article 16 of the Decree, if there is a violation of regulations on food safety conditions in street food businesses, a fine of VND 500,000 - VND 1 million will be imposed for one of the following acts: not having tables, cabinets, shelves, equipment, and tools that meet the provisions of law for display; food is not covered to prevent dust; insects and harmful animals enter; not using gloves when in direct contact with cooked food or raw food.
