In the morning, the Congress approved the adjustment of the Congress's Working Program. The Congress is expected to close on Monday, February 1, 2021.

Comrade Pham Minh Chinh - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organization Commission, on behalf of the Presidium, read the Report of the Presidium of the Congress on the results of the delegates' discussion on the Report of the 12th Party Central Committee on the personnel work of the 13th Party Central Committee.

Next, the Congress elected the Ballot Counting Committee and carried out the voting process to approve the list of candidates, nominations, and cases of withdrawal from the list of candidates and nominations for the 13th Party Central Committee.

The Congress approved the list of candidates for the 13th Party Central Committee (both official and alternate).

In the afternoon, comrade Vo Van Thuong - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda Department, on behalf of the Presidium, read the Congress Presidium's Report on receiving and explaining the delegates' discussion opinions on the documents submitted to the 13th National Congress of the Party.

The Ballot Counting Committee guides the ballot recording and voting for the election of the 13th Party Central Committee. Delegates receive ballots, record ballots and vote for the election of the 13th Party Central Committee.

The Ballot Counting Committee will conduct the vote counting for the election of the 13th Party Central Committee. After completing the vote counting, the list of the 13th Party Central Committee (both official and alternate) will be announced.

Tomorrow, Sunday, January 31, 2021, the Congress is on break. The 13th Party Central Committee will hold its first meeting to elect the Politburo, General Secretary, Secretariat, Central Inspection Commission, and Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission.
