(Baonghean.vn) - Every year-end, some overseas anti-government organizations come up with the trick of voting and awarding “human rights awards”. Among them, the terrorist organization Viet Tan is promoting the so-called “Le Dinh Luong human rights award”.

This is essentially a plot by Viet Tan to promote and incite sabotage by "democratic" subjects, distract public opinion and create an excuse to attack the government.

Normally,Human Rights AwardThis is a very sacred and noble award, reserved for those who have made great contributions to the progress in ensuring human rights in countries, territories or at the regional and global scale. When a person is named after the award, that person must be a person of special prestige, social status and have made positive and important contributions to community development.

However, with Viet Tan’s “Le Dinh Luong human rights award”, it is not like that. In 2018, the terrorist organization Viet Tan “gave birth” to something called the “Le Dinh Luong human rights award”. In different years, they will have different topics to award to those who “deserve the award”. Through that, Viet Tan fabricated and exaggerated it to “commend the fighting spirit for the people’s livelihood and civil rights of democracy activists who have made many efforts to fight to protect the rights of their compatriots and the sovereignty of the country” and “to protect sovereignty against the threat of China”. So what is the real purpose of this “award”?

This “award” is named after Le Dinh Luong, so exposing the nature of the name Le Dinh Luong means that we will see the nature of this award. In fact, Le Dinh Luong (born in 1965, residing in Hop Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district, Nghe An) is not a “patriot” as Viet Tan still claims. Instead, he is a major figure, specializing in opposing the regime; at the same time, he is a member and right-hand man of the terrorist organization Viet Tan. Through social networking sites, Le Dinh Luong posted and shared many propaganda articles praising and encouraging the terrorist organization Viet Tan; distorting the situation of the country, taking advantage of political, economic, social, and environmental events to exaggerate and distort the truth in order to cause skepticism and confusion among the masses, dividing the great national unity bloc.

From 2015 to 2017, Le Dinh Luong used Facebook under the name “Lo Ngoc” to make friends, get acquainted, and attract Nguyen Van Hoa (who was sentenced to 7 years in prison by the People's Court of Ha Tinh province for “Propaganda against the Socialist Republic of Vietnam” in November 2017). Le Dinh Luong also regularly used Facebook “Lo Ngoc” to post many articles with propaganda content against the Party and the State of Vietnam. In 2018, Le Dinh Luong was sentenced by the People's Court of Nghe An province to 20 years in prison and 5 years of probation for activities aimed at overthrowing the people's government.

The so-called “Le Dinh Luong Human Rights Award” is essentially a scam by “Viet Tan” to attract public attention, a trick for the terrorist organization Viet Tan to legitimize the provision of money to those who they support to operate against the Party, the State, and the people of Vietnam. At the same time, through this, it aims to continue to encourage and attract other subjects to operate in service of this terrorist organization’s plot to sabotage the Vietnamese regime. Along with that, awarding the “human rights” award is also a way to polish their reputation, incite and encourage those who take advantage of freedom of speech, use social networks to violate national defense - security, social order and safety, and propagate against the country.

By using the name “human rights” to attach to the “award” of the terrorist organization Viet Tan, they aim to attract international attention to smear and distort the situation of democracy and human rights in Vietnam. On the other hand, they use the “human rights award” as a tool to fabricate a biased and ill-intentioned view of Vietnam by international organizations, to put pressure on and interfere with Vietnam’s judicial activities.

On October 4, 2016, the Ministry of Public Security put "Viet Tan" intolist of terrorist organizationsin Vietnam, and at the same time clearly stated: "Anyone who participates, propagates, entices, incites others to participate, sponsors, receives sponsorship from "Viet Tan"; participates in training courses organized by "Viet Tan"; operates under the direction of "Viet Tan" will be an accomplice to the crime of terrorism, sponsoring terrorism and will be handled according to the provisions of Vietnamese law". Therefore, it must be affirmed that if a "terrorist" organization establishes an award, that award is completely worthless and illegal.

The individuals who were “honored” with the “Le Dinh Luong Human Rights Award” are actually just extremists, puppets of the terrorist organization Viet Tan who are serving sentences in prison for illegal acts related to opposing the regime.

The individuals awarded the “Le Dinh Luong Human Rights Award” are actually just extremists, puppets of the terrorist organization Viet Tan who are serving sentences in prison for violations of the law related to anti-regime activities. For example, the “Le Dinh Luong Human Rights Award” in 2022 of the terrorist organization Viet Tan named Nguyen Nang Tinh - a subject who was sentenced by the Provincial People's Court to 11 years in prison; 5 years of probation from the date of completion of the prison sentence for the crime of: “Making, storing, disseminating or propagating information, documents, and items against the Socialist Republic of Vietnam”.

Thus, it can be clearly seen that the so-called “Le Dinh Luong Human Rights Award” - the “offspring” of the terrorist organization Viet Tan - is just one of the farces of this terrorist organization. It has exposed the anti-Party and anti-State faces of extremists, hostile forces and reactionary exiles.

Approaching and perceiving the issue correctly, through which we will clearly understand the nature of the plot, of the so-called "human rights awards" - the tricks of hostile forces that are determined to hinder and sabotage the stability and development of Vietnam. At the same time, through that, we will also warn those who are still vague and gullible not to fall into the "trap" set up by hostile and destructive forces.
