Quynh Luu Military Command: Received more than 32 hectares of land to build defense works

(Baonghean.vn) - On November 5, the Military Command of Quynh Luu district received 32 hectares of defense land in the area of ​​two communes bordering Dien Chau and Quynh Luu districts, to build defense works.

Attending the reception were the province's bomb disposal engineers, representatives of local authorities and many people from hamlets 4 and 5 of Dien Lam commune.

The reception is based on Decision No. 1578/QD - BTL dated September 29, 2015 of the Commander of Military Region 4 on the recovery of defense land of the 16th Artillery Brigade currently managed and used, and transferred to the District Military Command for management and use for defense purposes. Based on Official Dispatch No. 826/TTr - BCH dated October 9, 2015 of the District Military Command on the reception, site clearance, and construction planning of project items in the district's rear base.

Engineers cleared mines and bombs in the handed over land area.

The District Military Command received and deployed engineering forces to the above area to conduct mine clearance, leveling, and site clearance with the witness and consensus of local authorities and local people./.
