Tan Ky Military Command gives gifts to students in difficult circumstances

(Baonghean.vn) - On May 17, the Tan Ky District Military Command visited and presented gifts to students with especially difficult circumstances in Nghia Hoan Commune, Tan Ky District.

On this occasion, the District Military Command presented 1 bicycle, 25 kg of rice, 20 notebooks, and 20 pens to two students, Truong Thi Ha, a 3rd grader, and Truong Van Phong, a 1st grader, of Nghia Hoan Primary School, residing in Mai Tan hamlet, Nghia Hoan commune.

It is known that the two children are at risk of dropping out of school due to their family's difficult circumstances. Their father, Truong Van Thuy, has had a brain tumor since 2002 and has not yet had money for surgery, and their mother, Nguyen Thi Loi, a Tho ethnic group, has vestibular tuberculosis and is no longer able to work.

The gift from the Tan Ky District Military Command has timely encouraged the family's situation, and at the same time supported the two children to have the opportunity to continue going to school.
