The Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee offers incense to commemorate heroic martyrs in Quang Tri province.
(Baonghean.vn) - Towards the 75th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2022), on July 9, a delegation of officials from the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission led by comrade Ngoc Kim Nam - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, came to offer flowers and incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs in Quang Tri province.
The delegation visited, laid wreaths and offered incense at the Truong Son National Martyrs' Cemetery. In a solemn and respectful atmosphere, the delegation of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission expressed their deep respect and gratitude to the 10,263 martyrs, including 1,297 martyrs from Nghe An who sacrificed their lives on the Ho Chi Minh Trail during the resistance war against the US to save the country and were buried here.
The heroic martyrs did not hesitate to sacrifice their blood and bones, dedicating their entire youth for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland and became shining symbols of revolutionary heroism, of the spirit and will of the nation.

During the gratitude journey, the delegation visited and offered flowers and incense at the National Road 9 Martyrs Cemetery and Quang Tri Ancient Citadel. The National Road 9 Martyrs Cemetery is the resting place of 10,800 martyrs who were main force soldiers, local troops, militia and guerrillas, and youth volunteers who fought and served on the Road 9 front and in Laos during the resistance war against the US, including about 200 martyrs from Nghe An.

At the destinations, the delegation respectfully lit incense to express their deep gratitude to the heroic martyrs. The noble sacrifice of the heroic martyrs clearly demonstrated the revolutionary heroism of the Vietnamese people in the Ho Chi Minh era, for the independence and freedom of the nation, for socialism and the territorial integrity of the Fatherland.
