(Baonghean.vn) - Afraid of being scolded by his parents, a boy in Nghe An borrowed a phone to call home and said he was going out with friends. He was then taken in by a restaurant owner in Hanoi.

On the morning of May 19, speaking to Nghe An Newspaper reporters, Mr. Le Minh Hoan in Hamlet 4, Quynh Lam Commune, Quynh Luu District said that his family had found his daughter after many days of searching.

Mr. Hoan said that on May 10, after asking the online community to share information to help find his daughter, Le Thi Thu Hang, born in 2005, currently a 9th grade student in Quynh Lam commune, Quynh Luu, her mother, Ms. Duong Thi Nguyet, also took a bus to Hanoi to look for her daughter. However, from May 10 to 19, Ms. Nguyet still could not find her daughter. Ms. Nguyet cried a lot because she was looking for her daughter in vain.

Fortunately, on the morning of May 19, someone called Mr. Le Minh Hoan, saying that this person read an article about the family's search for their child, and saw a child similar to the picture in the article. Then this person took a photo of the child and sent it to Mr. Le Minh Hoan for confirmation. Mr. Hoan immediately recognized his child, so he called the child's mother, who was still in Hanoi looking for her child, to come and take Hang home.

Currently, mother and son are on their way from Hanoi to their hometown Quynh Luu.

Ms. Duong Thi Nguyet said that Hang went out on her own, and because she was afraid of being scolded by her parents, she called home and lied that she was going with a friend. After arriving in Hanoi, Hang wandered around the area near the Nuoc Ngam bus station, then was taken in by a small restaurant owner near the Nuoc Ngam bus station, who gave her food and shelter, and Hang helped her wash dishes until her family came to pick her up.

Mr. Le Minh Hoan and Ms. Duong Thi Nguyet expressed their joy and thanked Nghe An Newspaper and the online community for sharing information to help the family find their daughter.

Previously, as reported by Nghe An Newspaper, at around 7am on Sunday (May 10), while exercising alone in the yard, the child suddenly left the house. When leaving, the child was wearing purple pants, a yellow-brown striped shirt, and a brown mask. The child was a bit chubby, about 1m55 tall. He was quiet and not as agile as normal people. On May 12, the child borrowed a phone from a water vendor at gate C1 of the Hanoi Nuoc Ngam bus station to call home, saying that he was with a friend from Thuan Nghia, Quynh Lam (Quynh Luu), but he did not provide any further information.

It is known that Hang is the eldest child, with two younger siblings.
