Almost all of the 25,800 taels of gold auctioned off have been sold.
That was the result of the 23rd gold bullion auction held by the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) on the morning of May 28th. With only 200 ounces of gold remaining unsold out of 26,000 ounces offered, this morning's auction is considered a success.

According to the results announced by the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV), seven bidders were credit institutions and businesses that have established gold trading relationships with the SBV. The highest winning bid price was 40.83 million VND/ounce, and the lowest winning bid price was 40.80 million VND/ounce.
Thus, in exactly two months, since the first auction was held on March 28th, the State Bank of Vietnam has organized 23 auctions to sell gold bars, with a total winning bid volume of 580,400 taels out of a total of 666,000 taels offered.
