Discussing solutions to improve propaganda effectiveness on Nghe An Newspaper

Over the past year, Nghe An Newspaper and Que Phong District have closely and effectively coordinated in propaganda work and the publication and use of Party newspapers. The number of propaganda articles about Que Phong District in Nghe An Newspaper publications during the year was relatively high.

Among them, there are many articles and topics that have made a mark, contributing to creating stability and encouraging the socio-economic development movement in the district. The handling of petitions and issues mentioned above by Nghe An Newspaper is quite timely, always receiving the attention and direction of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee.

In addition, with the attention and direction of the District Party Committee, the units implemented the annual newspaper subscription contract and paid quarterly, so the circulation volume was basically stable. The total number of Nghe An newspapers published in Que Phong was: 619 copies/issue. However, there are still some Party Committees and Party Cells that have not properly implemented the Directive on purchasing and using Party newspapers.

At the meeting, based on the analysis of the results of the coordination work, the two sides proposed solutions to improve the effectiveness of propaganda, the quality of publishing and using the newspaper. In the coming time, the two units will sign a coordination regulation, develop a specific propaganda plan, with a focus, rich content, throughout 2017. The goal for the coming time is to ensure that 100% of the focal points, party cells and subjects according to regulations have Nghe An Newspaper, at the same time, strengthen propaganda, expand the distribution subjects in the area.

On behalf of the working delegation, comrade Tran Huu Nghia - Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Nghe An Newspaper highly appreciated the coordination of Que Phong district in the work of propaganda, distribution and use of newspapers. At the same time, he hoped that the District Party Committee would have measures to direct and enhance the effectiveness of propaganda on newspapers, contributing to the implementation of the Resolution of the District Party Congress for the period 2015 - 2020; coordinate to overcome shortcomings in newspaper distribution, and at the same time expand the distribution subjects to businesses, units and individuals in the area.

Concluding the working session, Comrade Lu Dinh Thi - Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Que Phong district highly appreciated the participation, coordination and companionship of Nghe An Newspaper in the propaganda work of political fields, economic, social, cultural and tourism development of the district in the newspaper; at the same time, affirmed that Que Phong district always pays attention and creates the greatest conditions for Nghe An Newspaper in professional activities.

He requested that the units, departments and offices of the District Party Committee should actively and proactively provide information and create conditions for the team of reporters and collaborators of the newspaper to work in order to strengthen propaganda about the locality and orient public opinion; at the same time, review the units that still lack newspapers, take drastic measures to overcome the shortcomings, improve the quality of publishing and using Nghe An newspaper, ensuring that it is available to all Party Committees and Party cells in the area.

In the coming time, the district will coordinate with Nghe An Newspaper to conduct training for reporters and collaborators and upgrade the district's electronic information portal. After this conference, the District Party Committee assigned specialized units to develop plans and sign a cooperation agreement on propaganda with Nghe An Newspaper in 2017./.
