Previously, the Minister of National Defense issued a Decision to appoint Lieutenant Colonel Hoang Ngoc Linh - Head of the Reconnaissance Department to the position of Deputy Commander of the Provincial Border Guard Command; the Border Guard Command issued a Decision to appoint and transfer Colonel Pham Huu Lam - Head of the Drug and Crime Prevention Department of the Ha Tinh Border Guard to the position of Head of the Reconnaissance Department of the Nghe An Border Guard.
The leaders of the Provincial Border Guard Command congratulated Colonel Pham Huu Lam on his appointment as Head of the Reconnaissance Department of Nghe An Border Guard - a unit with a long history of achievements, having been awarded the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces twice; and hoped that in his new position, he would continuously consolidate solidarity and unity, promote democracy, uphold responsibility, and fulfill assigned tasks well, contributing to firmly protecting the sovereignty and security of the Fatherland's borders.
The Chief of the Reconnaissance Department took over the management of the work in his new position from July 10, 2018.
