Handing over the renovation and upgrading project of Lac Son kindergarten in Do Luong (Nghe An)
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of March 21, the Social Policy Bank (NHCS) Nghe An branch handed over the project to renovate and upgrade the kindergarten in Lac Son commune, Do Luong district (Nghe An).
This is a renovation and upgrading project from a primary school to a kindergarten in Lac Son commune. Along with renovating classrooms and school grounds, the Nghe An branch of NHCS has also renovated the living area, restrooms, etc. to ensure better learning and playing for nearly 300 students in the commune.
The renovation and upgrading of the kindergarten will help students study at one school instead of three degraded schools as before. At the same time, it will contribute to building a kindergarten that meets phase 2 standards and speed up the construction of a new rural area for Lac Son commune.

The total investment capital for renovating this project is about 1.4 billion VND, of which, NHCS Nghe An branch supported 400 million VND, people in the commune contributed 650 million VND and the commune budget contributed 350 million VND.
Previously, the NHCS Trade Union Nghe An branch handed over three boarding rooms to the Ta Ca Primary School in the remote mountainous commune of Ky Son border district (Nghe An) with an investment of 370 million VND. In addition, it also supported the loan interest rate for hundreds of poor households in Ta Ca commune to borrow capital to develop production, each year 70 million VND.

It is known that every year, NHCS Nghe An branch also supports the construction of one to three gratitude houses, worth from 50 to 70 million VND/house for poor households in difficult areas.
Director of NHCS Nghe An branch - Mr. Tran Khac Hung said: Every year, the NHCS Nghe An branch union has launched a campaign for officials, civil servants and employees to contribute 5-7 days' salary to carry out the above charity work.
