Handing over a charity house worth 70 million VND in Thanh Chuong

(Baonghean.vn) - The family of Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong in Branch 5, Xuan Tuong Commune, Thanh Chuong has just been handed over a charity house with a total value of 70 million VND.

On October 13, Thanh Chuong District Women's Union and Xuan Tuong Commune Women's Union held a handover ceremony of a charity house to member Nguyen Thi Phuong in Branch 5.

This is a poor family, Ms. Phuong's husband is sick, her two children are still young, she works alone to support the whole family. For many years, they have lived in a dilapidated, makeshift house. In such difficult circumstances, the District Women's Union has supported 20 million VND and organizations, unions, brothers, and neighbors have supported and assisted the family's efforts to build a new house. After 1 month of implementation, the charity house has been completed with a total cost of 70 million VND.

Also on the occasion of the Vietnamese Women's Day October 20, the Thanh Chuong District Women's Union will organize the donation of 5 charity houses with a total support amount of 100 million VND.
