(Baonghean.vn) -That is one of the contents ofDecree No. 119/2017/ND-CP (dated November 1, 2017) of the Government: Regulations on administrative sanctions for violations in the field of standards, measurement and quality of products and goods.

According to "Article 16. Violations of false measurement of pre-packaged goods in trade" (Decree 119), a fine of VND 2,000,000 to VND 4,000,000 shall be imposed on the act of trading pre-packaged goods without stating the quantity on the product label or stating it incorrectly; recording or engraving units that are not in accordance with the legal measurement unit.

The Decree also specifies provisions for penalties for violations in the field of measurement and product and goods quality. The maximum fine in the field of measurement for individuals is 100 million VND, and for organizations is 200 million VND.

The contents of this Decree take effect from December 15, 2017.
