Retired Healthcare Workers' Association holds Spring Meeting

(Baonghean.vn) - This afternoon, February 28th, the Liaison Committee of Retired Medical Staff of Nghe An Province held a New Year's gathering. Attending the event were Distinguished Physician, Specialist Doctor II: Bui Dinh Long - Provincial Party Committee Member - Director of the Department of Health, and Specialist Doctor II: Nguyen Xuan Hong - Deputy Director of the Department of Health, along with 560 retired medical staff.

With the spirit of "The older the age, the stronger the will," to date, over 350 retired medical professionals have actively participated in medical examination and treatment at private hospitals such as Thai An Hospital, Thanh An Saigon Hospital, and Hospital 115... Some members have even opened clinics at home or provided mobile emergency services when needed... In addition, many members organize campaigns to prevent various infectious diseases, including hand, foot and mouth disease, measles, H1N1 influenza, and seasonal illnesses...

At the meeting, the distinguished physician, Dr. Bui Dinh Long, Director of the Department of Health, reported on the achievements of the health sector in the past year and expressed his hope that retired officials would continue to uphold the tradition of "living happily, living healthily, and living usefully" to further contribute their intellect to the work of caring for and protecting the health of the people, contributing to the development of the province's health sector.
