Mong Village, where there are many schools with no mobile coverage
(Baonghean.vn) - At 12 noon on January 12, Viettel mobile network officially covered Muong Long village and part of Huoi Xai 2 village, Tri Le commune (Que Phong) on 2G platform.
Muong Long is a Mong border village of Tri Le commune (Que Phong), 18km from the commune center and about 26km from the district center. The village has 117 households with 366 people living mainly on farming, hunting and gathering forest products.
The traffic is dangerous and difficult, so for many years, the people's lives here have been extremely difficult in every aspect.

This is also the location of the "famous" Tri Le 4 Primary School with many "no"s such as: no female teachers, no electricity, no roads, no phone signal, no TV signal...
The school and 47 teachers here were honored with the Impressive Award in 2017 by Vietnam Television VTV, the Emulation Flag in 2017 by the Ministry of Education and Training, and excellent teachers were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union.

These difficulties, especially the lack of telephone coverage, made Muong Long an isolated "oasis" from the outside world. Therefore, the telephone coverage event on January 12 was truly a great mark in the lives of the people, soldiers and teachers here.
The dream of many years has now come true.

Mr. Tran Van Ho - Director of Viettel Que Phong said: The time for the unit to build the relay station was nearly 1 month. The advantage was that the people, local authorities, and district leaders created favorable conditions during the station construction process. The difficulty was that due to many rainy days, the progress was about 8 days behind schedule. And the transportation of raw materials and technical equipment here was quite difficult.
