Mong ethnic group maintains "Cultural Village"
Son Ha village (Ta Ca commune, Ky Son district) is a pure Mong village. Son Ha was recognized as a provincial cultural village in 2001, and for the past 10 years the village has maintained that title.
In the criteria of preserving and promoting cultural identity, the village has opened a class to preserve and promote Mong culture according to the program to preserve and promote ethnic minority cultural identity of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. The class attracted over 50 people, with attractive content such as: playing the flute, dancing, singing Cu Xia...
During Tet, the village organizes many activities such as throwing con, pushing sticks, performing arts, playing volleyball, village members visit each other's houses to wish each other a happy new year, and young people gather to organize games in the community cultural house yard.

The Village Management Board also regularly takes care of the children's education, 100% of children go to school, no dropouts occur; assigns the Youth Union to be in charge of the "Gong to Study" movement, stipulating that from 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm, all students must sit at their desks. The security youth force and police officers check the security and order of the village.
Son Ha village is also one of the first Mong villages in Ky Son district to eliminate backward customs and practices early. The people in the village strictly fulfill their responsibilities as citizens, living and working according to the constitution and the law. Village chief Vu Ra Mua said: "The village does not allow social evils to arise, especially there has not been a case of any young people in the village being addicted to opium. The village is determined to maintain the title of Cultural Village."
