The Hmong people maintain their "Cultural Village".
Son Ha village (Ta Ca commune, Ky Son district) is a purely Mong ethnic minority village. Son Ha was recognized as a provincial-level cultural village in 2001, and has maintained that title for the past 10 years.
In line with the criteria for preserving and promoting cultural identity, the village has opened a class on preserving and promoting Hmong culture as part of the program for preserving and promoting the cultural identity of ethnic minorities of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. The class attracted over 50 people, with engaging content such as playing the Hmong flute, dancing, and singing Cự xia songs...
During Tet (Vietnamese New Year), the village organizes many activities such as throwing the ball, stick pushing, performing arts, playing volleyball, villagers visit each other's homes to wish each other a Happy New Year, and young people gather to organize games at the community cultural center's courtyard.

The village management board also regularly takes care of the children's education, ensuring 100% of children attend school and preventing any dropouts. The Youth Union is in charge of the "Study Bell" movement, stipulating that all students must sit down to study between 7:30 PM and 9:00 PM. The youth security task force and police officers inspect the village's security and order.
Son Ha village is also one of the first Mong villages in Ky Son district to eliminate outdated customs and traditions. The people in the village strictly fulfill their responsibilities as citizens, living and working in accordance with the constitution and laws. Village head Vu Ra Mua said: "The village has not allowed any social evils to arise, especially there have been no cases of young people in the village becoming addicted to opium. The village is determined to maintain its title as a Cultural Village."
