Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee presents gifts to disadvantaged students in Dien Lam commune

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of September 8, the working delegation ofProvincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs CommitteeComrade Phan Duc Dong - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Committee led the visit and gave gifts to primary and secondary schools and the People's Committee of Dien Lam commune.

Dien Lam is one of the most difficult communes in the mountainous district of Quy Chau. The whole commune has 586 households, mainly Thai ethnic people, the daily life of the people as well as the study of students face many difficulties.

The Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee presented gifts to the People's Committee of Dien Lam commune.

As a unit receiving support for Dien Lam commune under the poor commune support program of the Provincial People's Committee, over the past 2 years, the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee has had many practical activities to help the government and people here.

At the beginning of this new school year, the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee coordinated with Nghe An Books and School Equipment Joint Stock Company to present more than 300 sets of textbooks, nearly 1,000 notebooks and pens to students of Dien Lam Primary and Secondary Schools and 6 office cabinets to the Commune People's Committee. The total value of the gifts is nearly 50 million VND.

All textbooks donated this time are based on the actual needs of students in Dien Lam commune.

Previously, the Provincial Internal Affairs Committee presented 80 warm coats to poor students, 1 ton of rice, 85 gifts to disadvantaged households in the commune and presented the People's Committee of Dien Lam commune with a computer set to help the commune improve working and living conditions.
