The Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee presented gifts to Dien Lam mountainous commune on the occasion of Great Solidarity Day.
(Baonghean.vn) - Leaders and officials of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee in coordination with Nghe An Books and Equipment Joint Stock Company visited and presented gifts to students in Dien Lam commune, Quy Chau district.
Dien Lam is one of the most difficult communes in the mountainous district of Quy Chau. The commune has nearly 600 households, mainly Thai ethnic people; people's lives mainly depend on forestry, rice cultivation and farming; the poverty rate accounts for 54%, the daily life of the people as well as the study of the students face many difficulties.

On this occasion, students of two schools: Dien Lam Primary School and Hoan Lam Secondary School, Dien Lam commune were given nearly 2,000 sets of textbooks, notebooks, pens, school bags and writing boards, with a total value of 50 million VND.
The gift not only has the meaning of spiritual encouragement and material support so that children in the poor commune of Dien Lam have better conditions for studying, but also demonstrates the spirit of solidarity, mutual love, sharing difficulties and the concern of the Party Committee, leaders and staff of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee for the cause of education and training, caring for the young generation.
On behalf of the Board's leadership, comrade Phan Sy Duong - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee presented the People's Committee of Dien Lam commune with a computer set worth 8 million VND to serve the commune's activities.
