After that, Van advertised online for sale high-value mutant orchids such as HO 5-petal white, Snow White 5-petal white, Phu Tho 5-petal white, and Yen Thuy Hong, but in fact they were just normal orchid plants.
When the buyer believes that the normal orchids that Van is selling are mutant orchids and decides to buy, the subject provides a bank account number and asks the buyer to transfer money or give cash (if the buyer comes to see the plants and buy directly). After the money is in the account, the subject will deliver the orchids (not mutant orchids) to the buyer.
With the above trick, in just a short period of time from June 2020 to July 2020, Ta Thi Suoi Van defrauded and sold fake orchid plants for a total amount of up to 4.6 billion VND.
