Southeast Economic Zone Management Board congratulates businesses on Vietnamese Entrepreneurs Day
(Baonghean.vn) - The leaders of the Southeast Economic Zone Management Board hope that businesses and units will strive to overcome difficulties in production, accompany the development of the province, and create jobs and income for local people.
On October 10, the Management Board of the Southeast Economic Zone and the Trade Union of the Southeast Economic Zone visited and congratulated businesses and units in the area on the occasion of Vietnamese Entrepreneurs Day (October 13).

The delegation visited Hoa Sen Nghe An Company Limited in Dong Hoi Industrial Park (Hoang Mai Town). The factory started construction in 2015 on an area of 45 hectares, producing corrugated iron, steel pipes, etc. Annual revenue is about 10,000 billion VND, total tax paid to the state budget since its operation until now is more than 3,000 billion VND. Currently, the company has about 600 workers at 2 facilities.
The company representative said that after the Covid-19 pandemic, the company is on the way to recovery, although since the beginning of the year, it has encountered many difficulties such as high raw material prices, the market has slowed down due to the impact of construction demand. In addition, the recruitment of workers, especially skilled workers in mechanics, electricity, etc., is still limited.

Next, the delegation visited businesses in Hoang Mai I Industrial Park, covering an area of 264.77 hectares. This is an industrial park approved by the Prime Minister for the planning orientation of the Nam Thanh - Bac Nghe region and is one of the industrial parks listed in the list of priority industrial parks for development.

According to the report of Hoang Thinh Dat Joint Stock Company, up to now, Hoang Mai I Industrial Park Project has completed almost all of the construction infrastructure and attracted a number of foreign investors to the Industrial Park, including large projects such as the Phase 1 Electronic Components and Auto Parts Factory Project of Ju Teng International Group (Taiwan); Export Shoe and Sandal Manufacturing Project of Hoa Loi Group (Taiwan); Monocrystalline Silicon Bar and Semiconductor Disc Production Project of Runergy PV Technology Co., Ltd. (Thailand). These 3 factories alone have registered to lease about 165 hectares of land in the Industrial Park.


Speaking at the meeting, representatives of Ju Teng Vietnam Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. and Runergy PV Technology Co., Ltd. shared the progress of the factory construction, accordingly, striving to basically complete the construction by the end of the first quarter of 2024, and will put the product into operation and trial production. The two companies also said that they are currently facing some difficulties, especially in recruiting skilled workers. Currently, the companies have sent many batches of workers in Vietnam to China for training, then returned to Vietnam for production. In addition, the units also want to pay more attention to the issue of workers' housing, staff housing... when starting production in the industrial park.

The delegation also visited and worked at Hanoi - Nghe An Beer Joint Stock Company in Nam Cam Industrial Park. Although it is one of the units operating stably in recent years, since the beginning of the year, the production and business situation has encountered many difficulties, especially in the product consumption stage. In addition, raw materials imported for beer production have also increased due to the general situation in the world, in particular, the price of rice has increased many times. Currently, the company is also implementing adaptation plans, ensuring income for workers as well as paying to the local budget.
Working with businesses, Mr. Vo Quang Tuan - Deputy Head of the Southeast Economic Zone Management Board acknowledged and thanked businesses in the area for their efforts to overcome difficulties in production, create jobs for people, and contribute to the development of the province.

Mr. Vo Quang Tuan also sent his congratulations to the units on the occasion of Vietnam Entrepreneurs Day (October 13), hoping that the units will continue to overcome difficulties and stabilize production and business. Nghe An Province and the Management Board of Dong Nam Economic Zone will always accompany, share and resolve difficulties with enterprises. Regarding the problem of labor shortage, Dong Nam Economic Zone will initially connect with job placement centers, localities and schools to support labor resources for enterprises, at the same time, have solutions to support enterprises in consuming products and increasing revenue for the units.
