The Army Youth Committee and partner units presented gifts to support disadvantaged people in Nghe An.
On the morning of September 12th, the Army Youth Committee (General Political Department of the Vietnam People's Army) coordinated with the Political Department of Military Region 4 and other participating units inside and outside the Army to organize a program to distribute gifts and support to people and officers and soldiers affected by typhoons No. 5 and No. 6 in Tuong Duong commune, Nghe An province.
At the event, the Army Youth Committee and its units presented many practical gifts, including stationery, school supplies, materials to support Hoa Binh Kindergarten, and essential necessities to the people and officers and soldiers in Tuong Duong commune, Nghe An province, with a total value of nearly 200 million VND.

The recent storm and floods were among the most severe natural disasters the people of Tuong Duong commune have experienced, with hundreds of houses submerged and much property swept away. Many schools suffered heavy losses. To this day, four villages in Tuong Duong commune remain isolated because two suspension bridges across the river were swept away, making travel very difficult and dangerous for teachers and students who have to use motorboats.
On behalf of Hoa Binh Kindergarten, Principal Nguyen Thi Hanh expressed her deep gratitude for the timely attention and support from the Army Youth Committee and other units, affirming that this is a great source of encouragement for teachers and students to teach and learn well in the new school year.
This activity demonstrates the sharing of feelings and responsibilities of the young people in the Army and accompanying units towards the people in the flood-stricken areas, contributing to encouraging the people and schools to quickly overcome difficulties, stabilize their lives, and start the new school year.
